  • YMCA and Ronald McDonald House are bringing Summer Fun to kids!

    A summer camp experience is a normal occurrence for many children, but those suffering from serious illness or injury, or their siblings, often miss out on this opportunity. This year the YMCA of Northern Alberta and Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern Alberta are partnering together to provide children with the chance to experience YMCA Summer Camps.

As with any web change, there will always be a bit of getting used to a new system.   • Simplify Summer with Salads!

    Come out for a programs that will teach you about exciting additions to your salads, flavour profiles, and how to create your own delicious salads every time. We'll cover coleslaw, lettuce based salad, making your own dressings and some unusual salad ingredients.

     

  • Recognizing Our YMCA Volunteers

    National Volunteer Week (APRIL 10 – 16), was recently celebrated across Canada. We could not be the YMCA we are without their caring, positive attitudes and the passion that they bring to everything they do.

  • Shriner Club in Fort McMurray gives back to the community by supporting YMCA Strong Kids

    The Shriner’s Club in Fort McMurray recently presented Jim Weller, Vice President, YMCA of Northern Alberta | Wood Buffalo Region, with a cheque for $2,500, as a donation to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
