Active Y Kids

Through a variety of activities and fun games Active Y Kids offers a chance for children to improve and sustain a healthy lifestyle. This program incorporates cardiovascular exercise and muscle conditioning, nutrition and self-development education to improve overall health.

Atomic Volleyball

This is a partnership program with the Volleyball Alberta Association providing children with an introduction to volleyball in a fun and non-competitive environment. Skill development will be based on the Canadian Volleyball Association Atomic Volleyball program curriculum. Games will focus on the Learn to Train stage of the CS4L LTAD model.

Badminton Club (9–12yrs)

Recreation-based sport club to improve physical literacy and badminton skills while introducing team strategy concepts and rules of badminton. Family Play

Fun for the whole family! Join us on Saturday mornings for our Family Play drop-in. Activities include crafts, games, parachute, bouncey castle, video games, air hockey, ping pong, fooseball and giant board games. All ages welcome! YOUth Centre passes accepted.

Floor Hockey (6-7yrs)

Stick handle your way to fun with our floor hockey program. We teach all the fundamentals including shooting and passing to help your skills develop. In keeping with YMCA philosophies, the hockey traditions of teamwork and sportsmanship make this class a must for the next wave of little MVPs. Participants are placed in age appropriate groupings.

Indoor Playground – Parented

Are your kids asking to go to the playground but the weather outside isn’t cooperating? Come play with your children in our indoor playground which has a variety of equipment suitable for children walking to six years. No food or drink allowed in playground for children or parents. Socks must be worn at all times. Parented play area - adult supervision required.

Night at the Y (6–9yrs)

Do you want a night out without the kids? The YMCA has you covered - bring your kids to the YMCA for an evening of supervised fun while you have some time to yourself. Activities include swimming, games, crafts and movies. Please pack an allergen-aware snack.
