    Adult Drop-In Programs

    • 6:00am - 7:00am Boot Camp
      16+yrs

      Challenge your fitness level with these variety-set high-intensity workouts that utilize various equipment and your bodyweight. All boot camps consist of a mix of cardio and strength training designed to improve balance, speed, agility and coordination.

    • 8:00am - 8:45am Aqua - Deep
      16+yrs

      Deep water aquafit allows you to use the resistance of the water in a full range of motion to maximize your workout. A non-impact cardio workout that strengthens the entire body using water resistance and flotation belts.

    • 8:15am - 8:45am Strength – Core
      16+yrs

      Develop a strong foundation in your hips, abs and lower back to prevent injuries and improve posture and balance. A variety of equipment may be used: from bodyweight to BOSU Balls to Bender Balls and everything in between. Class will focus on strength of core muscle groups with a relaxation and stretching component included.

      16+yrs

      Challenge your fitness level with these variety sets; high intensity workouts that utilize various equipment and your bodyweight. This boot camp utilizes various drills on the Keiser bikes to challenge your cardio fitness as well as a variety of boot camp activities.

      A low-impact cardiovascular workout held in the pool. The class allows you to use the water’s resistance to increase muscular strength while working to maximize your cardiovascular system.

      A choreographed cardio workout to challenge your coordination and stamina through a traditional step workout.

      Continue your pursuit of health, balance and harmony by expanding upon the many postures and techniques of yoga. These classes improve circulation, strength and flexibility while increasing mindfulness and breath awareness.

      16+yrs

      A combination of lower and no-impact cardio, strength, flexibility, core and balance training. An ideal class for the active older adult or those just beginning to exercise.

      Connect the breath with the movement of the body during the ‘flow’ of yoga and deepening into the ‘stretch’- allowing energy to flow and providing relaxation for the busy mind.

      16+yrs

      Recreational floor hockey for players of all levels. Please provide your own helmet and note that only plastic blades are to be used.

      Group Power® will blast all your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and push you to a personal best! POWER UP!

      Group Fight is for anyone wanting a challenging, athletic, and motivating workout. It’s explosive, electric, and thrilling. MMA moves drive a great cardio experience that also strengthens the entire body. It’s a great way to add variety to your training and improve timing, precision, and focus. Plus it’s a great way to kick stress out of your life!

      4-18mos

      This interactive aqua fitness class is designed specifically for parents and babies. It is a great opportunity for Moms or Dads to reintroduce exercise into their new routine while enjoying quality time with baby. Recommended for babies aged 4–18 months.

      Do you want a night out without the kids? The YMCA has you covered - bring your kids to the YMCA for an evening of supervised fun while you have some time to yourself. Activities include swimming, games, crafts and movies.

      This pre-booked service offers parents the chance to utilize programming while their children enjoy a safe, interactive and fun environment.       Our All Sorts of Play program has a variety of activities on rotation for your child.  This program fosters social development and physical literacy skills, and allows your child to experience a variety of program options.  Every month a new schedule allows for new activities, including active and creative options like crafts, active play and sports.

    Youth Drop-In Programs

      13–18yrs

      YMCA Teen Night provides an opportunity for youth aged 13–18 to participate in various activities in all centre areas. Activities may include recreational sports, swimming, conditioning, and fitness or dance classes. Appropriate workout attire and footwear required. Meet friends, get fit!
