Children are introduced to deep-water activities, gliding on their front and back, and working towards a front swim of up to 5 meters.
Participants are encouraged to develop deep water skills and spend time in the main pool. Instructors work with children to develop arm action and toward a front swim of up to 10 meters.
Preschool children will participate in activities to gain confidence and to increase their level of comfort in the water. The focus is on getting their face wet, blowing bubbles, and beginning to work on assisted floats.
Participants are challenged to work on front and back floats and glides. Children will also discover the use of buoyant aids.
Children are encouraged to develop front and back swims up to a distance of 15 meters. They will also be exposed to diving, creative entries, surface support, and spending a large amount of time in the main pool.
Participants will refine their front and back swims, explore deep water activities, and spend the majority of the time in the main pool.
In this course your child will improve front and back strokes, endurance and treading water skills.
Our instructors will help your child build confidence in breath control, floating, and gliding. If your child has completed Dippers in the Preschool program, please speak with any aquatic staff to be placed in the appropriate level.
Your child will be introduced to deep water jumping, surface support, continuing with breath control, floats and glides.
In this class, your child will be introduced to safety education and elementary backstroke; as well as, increase front and back crawl skills, swimming endurance, and treading water up to 90 seconds.
An instructor will help your child build endurance and working toward front and back swims, side breathing and treading water.
