YMCA Board of Directors
We, as a Board, are committed to a balanced consideration of the needs and interests of all our stakeholders and the overall needs of the Edmonton, Grande Prairie, and Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray) regions. In our governance, we willingly share our expertise, knowledge and resources in strengthening our YMCA and our overall community. In so doing, our governance adds value to our YMCA and to our community.
We are committed to governing and communicating with transparency, accountability and integrity with all of our stakeholders and with our community. We are committed to ensuring that our YMCA is viable and continually strives to demonstrate its values and mission to its members, its stakeholders and to the wider community. In so doing we will strive to be responsive to the needs of all who we serve; our ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life through the implementation of our mission.

Since 1907
The YMCA of Northern Alberta has enjoyed serving the community as an independent registered charity since 1907! We've certainly grown, with 1600+ employees, 600+ volunteers, 20+ community program locations, 3 housing services sites, 70+ child care programs, and 9 service and program centres.
We can't wait for another 100+ years of seeing the potential in everyone!
