  3. A 60-minute workshop on how to your journey to better health, followed by complimentary access to the YMCA.  A special group fitness class will be available after the workshop!

The Physiology and Psychology of Stress with Dr. Lynne Honey

Much of our experience of stress is physical, and all aspects of health and wellbeing are affected by the stress we experience.  From minor annoyances to extreme trauma, the same processes are involved.  In this session, you will learn how your brain and other organs work together in an attempt to keep you safe.  Understanding how various events and experiences can affect your stress levels can help you to make good choices, and manage all the stressors that you can’t avoid.
