Drop-In All Sorts of Play

Our All Sorts of Play program has a variety of activities on rotation for your child. This program fosters social development and physical literacy skills, and allows your child to experience a variety of program options. Every month a new schedule allows for new activities, including active and creative options like crafts, active play and sports.

Drop-In Arts and Crafts

Encourage your little budding artist’s creativity through theme-based classes that include painting, drawing, cutting, and pasting. During the session, classes may also include stories and songs. Each class will have a different theme.

Jr. Nature Agents

Do you love the outdoors? Our goal is to provide every child with the opportunity to experience adventure in an outdoor setting. Exploration of nature increases children’s creativity and imagination, while developing an appreciation for the world around them. Participants will do scavenger hunts, play games, hike, create crafts, survival activities, make friends, and have fun!

Jr. Sportball – Parented

This 30-minute parented program is the perfect introduction to Sportball. Children and parents explore different sport skills through creative games. A different sport will be introduced each week. Parents are encouraged to participate and challenge their kids according to their skill level, teaching parents new skills in introducing sports to their kids as well.

Mighty Munchkins

This is an active program that focuses on developing your child’s balance, coordination, creative movement and gross motor skills. Preschoolers are engaged with a variety of different activities and encouraged to learn teamwork. See the centre schedules for dates and times.

Drop-In Indoor Playground – Parented

Come and play in our multipurpose room with a variety of fun equipment for children. No food or drink allowed for children or parents. Socks must be worn at all times. This is a parented play area - adult supervision is required.

Science Explorers

Children are invited to explore the wonders of science through our Science Explorers program. Each class will feature hands-on activities and experiments designed to stimulate the natural curiosity of the child.

Silly Science

Silly Science is geared for active and curious preschoolers. If your child has a passion for exploring and experimenting, they’ll have an outstanding time exploring the silly side of science. Learn about slimy creatures, oozing fluids, and other disgusting stuff. Come prepared to explore and get dirty.

Encourage your child’s exploration of music through lively songs, rhythm and sounds. Your toddler’s experience will be further enhanced by dance, movement, and fun games to develop body and spatial awareness.

Drop-In Sports and Games

Is your child crazy about sports? Let him or her try fun new games and sports that help improve movement and skill development. All sports will be adapted to meet your child’s needs and abilities. Each class will feature a different sports theme such as basketball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, golf and floor hockey. Appropriate indoor shoes are required.

Drop-In Story Time – Parented

Develop your child’s love of stories through our interactive story telling program. Participants will enjoy stories, finger plays, puppets and nursery rhymes.

Drop-In Toddler Zone – Parented

Want to go to the playground, but the weather isn’t cooperating? Come and play in our indoor toddler zone with a variety of fun equipment for preschoolers.
