This program is designed for teens who want to improve their swimming abilities and lifesaving skills.  Participants have the option of completing the YMCA Learn to Swim program.

  • Make Friends: make new friends, learn lifesaving skills, share knowledge with new swimmers while working in partners and groups.
  • Build Skills: for teens who want to improve their swimming abilities and lifesaving skills, who also want to learn to swim to be comfortable at water related events.  Participants have the option of completing the YMCA Swim program.
  • Water Safe: learn basic first aid skills, water safety and to safely help others who are in trouble in the water.
  • For Life: learn about different water related activities, water safety, water sports, lifesaving skills and strokes.
