This camp uses the Mini-Volley Curriculum from Volleyball Canada and the Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB) Curriculum to introduce campers to volleyball and basketball in a fun and non-competitive environment.  Camp will also include other activities like games, songs, swimming, and arts with a volleyball and basketball theme.  All participants will receive a SNYB ball, ball bag and jersey at the end of camp.

    It's All About the Beads

    At YMCA Day Camp, value beads play an important role as a sign of character and personal achievement.  Beads at camp promote positive behaviour, and are worn as a constant reminder of what we value as a camp community.  Throughout the week, beads are awarded to individuals for demonstrating the YMCA core values of friendship, caring, honesty, diversity, social inclusion, responsibility, respect, leadership, and excellence.

    Sports Camps

    Sports nuts rejoice!  Led by an NCCP-certified coach, campers improve sport skills and improve fitness
    by playing a wide range of sports.  Activities include a sports-themed out-trip as well as a friendly sports competition between the other YMCA branches.
