Silly Science is geared for active and curious preschoolers who are ready for a full-day camp.  Campers will build confidence and independence through age-appropriate games and science activities that promote the YMCA core values and science know-how at a beginner level.  If your preschooler has a passion for exploring and experimenting, they will have an outstanding time learning about the silly side of science.  Learn about slimy creatures, oozing fluids, and other disgusting stuff!  Come prepared to explore and get dirty.

    It's All About the Beads

At YMCA Day Camp, value beads play an important role as a sign of character and personal achievement.  Beads at camp promote positive behaviour, and are worn as a constant reminder of what we value as a camp community.  Throughout the week, beads are awarded to individuals for demonstrating the YMCA core values of friendship, caring, honesty, diversity, social inclusion, responsibility, respect, leadership, and excellence.
