The NL program develops basic lifeguarding skills, principles, and the decision-making process to help lifeguards evaluate and adapt to different aquatic facilities and emergencies. It is a minimum requirement to lifeguard in Alberta.

Prerequisites: Bronze Cross and 16 years old.
