9–12yrs

A recreation-based sport course to develop physical literacy, basic skills and introduce some team strategy concepts and rules of floor hockey. The program will focus on team and individual skills: running, shooting, stick handling, passing, systems and team-play strategies. Progressive drills, skill-based activities and modified games are used to improve competence and confidence in a fun atmosphere. Games will focus on the Learning to Train stage of the CS4L LTAD model.
