    This pre-booked service offers parents the chance to utilize programming while their children enjoy a safe, interactive and fun environment. In order to be eligible for the member rate the child must be a YMCA of Northern Alberta member. Space is limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Block bookings for the sessions are available.     Challenge your fitness level with these variety-set high-intensity workouts that utilize various equipment and your bodyweight. All boot camps consist of a mix of cardio and strength training designed to improve balance, speed, agility and coordination.

    Continue your pursuit of health, balance and harmony by expanding upon the many postures and techniques of yoga. These classes improve circulation, strength and flexibility while increasing mindfulness and breath awareness.

    16+yrs

    Recreational floor hockey for players of all levels. Please provide your own helmet and note that only plastic blades are to be used. Sign up at Member Services 15 minutes prior to start. Public must pay a drop-in fee each time they play.

    18+ (Registration Required)

    A 30-minute class designed for those new to cycle, new to exercising or recovering from injury or illness. This class will take participants through everything they need to know from bike set up to basic cycling drills to challenge their cardiovascular fitness.

    The Alberta Cancer Exercise Program is part of a study evaluating the benefit of Alberta-based exercise programs for cancer survivors. The primary goal of the program is to help individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer to adopt an active lifestyle.     Group Power® will blast all your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises.     Get ready to sweat with this heart-pumping interval workout. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) involves short bursts of high-intensity activity followed by short rest and recovery periods. HIIT provides a mix of cardio and strength training in a challenging and fast-paced format.

    Using the Synrgy 360 system, work your way from station to station in this cardio and strength based workout. Your fitness level will be challenged with various equipment and bodyweight-based exercises.

    A high-intensity class which utilizes various drills on the Keiser M3 bike to challenge your cardio fitness. Instructors will lead you through hills, drills, intervals and sprints. Because the tension on the bike is controlled by each participant, all fitness levels are accommodated.

    The Barre program uses ballet-based fitness movements and applied functional exercises that create core strength, and improve flexibility and posture for all levels of fitness.
