Each year hundreds of volunteers give their time and talent to make YMCA programs and services great. There is no program or service offered at the YMCA that is not supported by volunteers including the work of the YMCA Board of Directors.

The YMCA Board of Directors considers the needs and interests of the communities of Red Deer, Edmonton, Grande Prairie and Wood Buffalo Regions and share their expertise, knowledge and resources. Each board member works to ensure the YMCA remains viable and relevant with the goal of building strong kids, healthy families and thriving communities.

2021 Board Volunteer Recruitment Now Open

YMCA of Northern Alberta is recruiting up to 3 new Directors to serve on the Association’s Board of Directors commencing April 2022. If you feel that you can contribute to our community through the YMCA, please submit a cover letter, including your resume to Robert de Guzman, Chair of the Nominating Committee by visiting northernalberta.ymca.ca/volunteer.
