The Counsellors in Training (CIT) program is a leadership opportunity for youth to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become a camp counsellor. Training dates will be shared upon registration. Following the training, CIT's will take part in a two-week placement at one of our locations. There are opportunities for CIT's to sign-up for more than two weeks. Participants are placed in different day camp programs based on their age and experience in the CIT program and in Leaders in Training (LIT) program (if applicable). Interested youth can apply online or at any YMCA centre. All applicants will be contacted by a program supervisor. For more information, please contact your nearest YMCA
