YMCA Services - Employment & Immigrant Services
As a charity dedicated to improving the health and well-being of central and northern Albertans, we know the importance and impact that income security has on individuals, families and communities.
YMCA Employment Services respond to the needs of unemployed and underemployed individuals, especially youth and immigrant Canadians, by providing employment programs to address some of the barriers to entering the labour market.
YMCA of Northern Alberta also provides newcomers to Canada with employment and settlement services in an inclusive and welcoming environment. The YMCA help newcomers feel at home in their new community while also supporting and understanding the issues and barriers they face. YMCA Immigrant Services are available in Wood Buffalo.
